Disasters are a part of life and therefore a part of business too.
Depending on the severity of the disaster, your company may not be able to recover unless you plan for it in advance.
All the time, effort and financial investment you poured into your business could disappear in an instant.
What is disaster recovery?
Disaster Recovery is the process, policies, and procedures related to preparing for recovery or continuation of the technical infrastructure critical to an organization after “natural or human induced” disasters occur.
Preparation for continuation or recovery of systems needs to be taken very seriously.
Please join AMRCON for an informational workshop on Friday November 4, 2011 and learn how to plan for a disaster recovery. Breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop to start at 10:00 a.m.
What will the disaster recovery workshop cover?
Here are few of the topics we will be discussing:
- Putting together a disaster recovery plan
- The importance of disaster recovery planning
- Classification of disasters
- Common strategies for data protection
- Control measures in the recovery planning
Please RSVP no later than October 27th by contacting Lynn Hatter at 732-705-5057 ext. 2350 or LHatter@amrcon.com.
We look forward to seeing you there!
